Are there any fees to register with Wine Registry?

No, Wine Registry is a free gift registry. It’s completely free to register and manage your wine gift registry with Wine Registry.

How do we create our Wine Registry?

It’s so easy! Simply visit ‘Gift Registry’ in the menu bar, then select ‘Create’ and follow the prompts.

Alternatively, give us a call (08) 8323 8414 or email celebrate@thewineregistry.com.au and we can set one up for you.

Can we personalise our Wine Registry?

Absolutely! You can include your own photos, story and personalised message to your guests. Once your personal details are completed, you can start adding wine!

When should we set up our Wine Registry?

We would recommend setting up your Wine Registry a couple of weeks prior to your event invitations being printed, so that you can include the URL details of your registry. This creates an easy experience for your guests and will get you one step closer to creating your dream cellar!

If you’ve already sent your formal invitations, you can spread the word via email, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and more, via the share tab on your online gift registry.

Is our wine gift registry password protected, or can anyone access it?

This is completely up to you! If you decide to create a private, password protected online gift registry, be sure to send the password to your guests on your formal invitations, or via our share buttons.

If your gift registry is not password protected, anyone will be able to access it and make a gift purchase for you.

Is there a minimum amount of wine we have to register for?

Absolutely not! You can register for as much, or as little as you like! Personally, we think a minimum of $100 worth of wine per couple invited is a good amount.

Instead of pre-selecting the wines for our wine gift registry, can we ask our guests to give money and go shopping after our event?

At the Wine Registry, we love a good money pot!

When selecting items for your gift registry, simply select the ‘Money Pot’ vouchers to the total amount you hope to receive after your event, and your guests can contribute to your money pot.

If we ask our guests to contribute to a money pot, how do we select our wines?

All Wine Registry registered customers are invited to Wirra Wirra Vineyards in McLaren Vale for a pre or post-event tasting to select the wines they would like to purchase with their money pot.

Can’t make the tasting, or know exactly what you want? We’ll send you an order form once your online gift registry has closed with the total amount you have to spend.

What will our guests have to pay for?

Your guests will only pay the store price listed for the products they select for you. There are no shipping charges or additional fees.

What happens if there’s items left on our Wine Registry after our event?

No worries – there’s no obligation for you to purchase any leftover items on your gift registry, so dream big and create your ultimate cellar.

When do we receive the items purchased from our Wine Registry?

We will close your online gift registry approximately one week after your event – or if you notify us to do so sooner.

We will then send you a gift summary, including a list of the items purchased, the guests who purchased them for you and any personal messages.

Once the gift registry is closed and all wine confirmed, we’ll be in touch to arrange a delivery date.

Depending on where you live in Australia, this will be approximately one to three weeks upon the closure of your registry.

Going on a honeymoon? We can work the delivery date around you, just let us know!

Did you ask your guests to contribute to a money pot? We’ll send you an order form once your online gift registry has closed with the total amount you have to spend.

Can we track our Wine Registry shipment?

When we finalise and ship your order we will send you an email with your tracking number.

Once you have the tracking number you can log-on to the courier’s website to get an estimate date of delivery.

Can we create a Wine Registry for any occasion?

Yes, please do! Our most common customers are getting married, however you can celebrate with a Wine Registry for any occasion – milestone birthday, retirement, housewarming! It’s up to you!

Can I shop Wine Registry without having a gift registry?

Absolutely! Our website is designed to allow you to shop the store – for a single bottle, mixed six or even a dozen, or to create or shop a registry. Enjoy!

Can I purchase wine from Wine Registry for my event?
